At Cedar Creek Botanicals cleanliness and sanitation is not only a priority but a necessity. Kratom is a tree native to Indonesia and is harvested by locals. Due to this harvest method, imported kratom has been known to be contaminated with microbes.

A recent salmonella outbreak was linked to kratom, this only occurred due to poor business practices. In an industry that is not regulated, several bad actors have appeared and attempt to market and sell kratom for monetary gains. This “Get Rich Quick” mentality is becoming a detriment in the industry, and has been responsible for driving down prices. The market demand for low cost kratom has been the driving force behind contamination and continues despite warnings from FDA and other vendors.

As a lover of Kratom, it is your individual responsibility to choose vendors that take the necessary precautions to ensure customer safety on all levels. At Cedar Creek Botanicals, all products are tested for E. Coli, Salmonella, and Listeria. We have paired with a team of botanical experts and have devised a method to sterilize products to meet AHPA standards for herbal products. We match or exceed Medical Cannabis standards and refuse any and all product that does not pass.  All products are assigned a Lot code (a unique identifier) so that recalls or corresponding labs can be matched to individual batches.

Our packaging facility is located in Seven Points Texas and doubles as a pickup location for retail orders, all our packaging equipment is NSF approved for food packaging. We practice strict cross contamination procedures, every batch of kratom is assigned a specific NSF approved scoop, it will never touch another variety.

We believe that Kratom has such a promising future we are willing to lay down profit for the safety and longevity of this herb. By law there is no regulations, but to legitimize an illegitimate industry requires self regulation, we will not only comply with any future regulations but we promise to exceed them.
